From time to time, Disney make adjustments to operations based on Guest demand.
-
As Guest demand for smoke-free rooms continues to increase, all Disney owned and operated resort hotels at Walt Disney World® Resort and Disney Vacation Club resorts will transition to non-smoking environments by June 1, 2007.
-
Each resort will have outdoor areas designated as permissible smoking zones.
-
Beginning on May 1, no further reservation requests for smoking rooms may be taken.
-
During the month of May, our booking system and information systems will be updated to reflect these changes.
-
During the month of May, designated smoking areas will be determined and receive appropriate signage. You will learn of these locations as they are identified.
-
Guest rooms at Disney Resorts are smoke-free. A $250 - $500 recovery fee, plus tax, will be charged to the Guest’s account if they smoke in a Guest room, or on patios or balconies. (Per room, per stay) The amount of the fee is based on the Resort and room type.
