Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do I need to book my accommodation through Tournament Travel Partner?
    Yes, the 2012 event requires participation in the travel program’s official event hotels. The Housing Policy is: In order to be approved for scheduling into the AAU Inline Hockey Jr. Olympics, minimally all coaches and participants residing outside the 5 county Southern California area must purchase their hotel accommodations through GET Travel Sports at the program hotels offered by GET Travel Sports, the Official Travel Partner for this event.
  2. How do I make my reservation?
    By using our Online Booking Engine on this website or by calling GET Travel at 888-877-4445, Option 3. Don’t forget we are on the Pacific Standard Time Zone with office hours of 7:30am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. After 1/23/12, most hotels will be placed on a call for availability status.
  3. Why do I need to pay for my hotel rooms before I arrive?
    The policy was created to help ensure a quality and successful event for all. GET Travel holds contracts with each hotel that has a cut off date for guaranteed rate, room blocks and special offers. GET Travel provides sports teams with discounted hotel rates, guaranteed group blocks, specially priced DISNEYLAND® Theme Park Tickets, other attraction and transportation services and onsite guest service.
  4. When is final payment?
    05/25/2012. Reservations will be taken past this date at the group rate provided space is still available.
  5. Will my credit card be automatically charged on final payment?
    YES, all accounts are set to be paid automatically with the credit card on file on the specified final payment date of 5/25/12. Please make sure your preferred credit card is on file with GET Travel prior to that date. Otherwise, you must call GET Travel at (888) 877-4445 to make alternate payment arrangements in advance.
  6. What is the cancelation policy?
    Cancellations made May 25th or before will receive a full refund, less a $10 transaction fee. Cancellation made May 25 – June 4, 2012, there is no guaranteed refund, but if allowed, a cancellation fee of One Nights Room & Tax per room involved in the cancellation plus any additional cancellation fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers up to the full value of the reservation. Cancellation made June 5 – June 11, there is no guarantee of refund. If a cancellation is allowable, a cancellation fee of Two Nights Room & Tax per room involved in the cancellation plus any cancellation fees charged by hotels or other suppliers up to the full value of the reservation. No refunds will be given to no-shows or cancellations June 12 or after. There are no refunds for early check-out. Penalties may apply for changes made to your confirmed reservation within the stated penalty timeframe which includes reductions of nights.
  7. What is the deadline to pre-purchase Disneyland® Resort tickets at the website rates?
    06/22/2012. If you want tickets shipped prior to you arrival to the hotel, the deadline for shipment of tickets is June 6, 2012.
  8. Do my Disneyland® Resort Tickets expire?
    Your tickets are good for 14 days once activated the first day. If tickets are not used at all they do not expire until 12/11/2012.
  9. Can I have my tickets shipped without a signature required?
    Yes, if you send an email authorizing us to have them shipped without a signature, otherwise an adult signature is required.
  10. If I purchase shipping when will I receive my tickets?
    The last day to purchase shipping is 6/6/2012. Disneyland® Resort Tickets will be shipped out on or around 6/15/2012.
  11. What happens if I need to change my reservation dates after final payment?
    This is usually not a problem up to 72 business hours out. Reservation changes must be requested via the official GET Travel Change Form and will be processed based on hotel availability and based on the event policies & terms and conditions.
  12. How do I get to my Hotel from the Airport?
    Information varies by hotel so please check out the transportation tab on this website or call our Customer Service Department at 888-877-4445, Option 3.
  13. Is Transportation included to the Tournament Venues?
    US participants do not have tournament transportation provided by AAU to the hotel or event venue. For International Participant flying into LAX or SNA and staying at the International Headquarter Hotel there is transportation from airport to the hotel as well as tournament transportation provided. Restriction apply so please read the information on the transportation tab of this website or call our Customer Service Department at 888-877-4445, Option 3.
  14. How far is my hotel from the Tournament Venues?
    Between 3 to 20 Miles. Most of the hotels are within 3-5 miles from each other.
  15. What if I need to check out early?
    There are NO refunds for early check out.
  16. What if I want to extend my stay?
    You may extend your stay as long as the hotel has availability. Rates may or may not be the same. Call your GET Travel representative.
  17. When do I need to submit my rooming list?
    Rooming lists need to be complete by 5/25/2012. Please advise if you are arriving as a group or separately as individual families. Bookings can be made by one team representative or families can book individually through GET Travel Sports. Please remember, individual special requests and teams being blocked together are requests only and cannot be guaranteed by the hotel or GET Travel. Please remember, when families book late post deadline, have certain special requests, or arrive early and want a room immediately, it may affect your team block arrangements.
  18. What is the size of the beds in the hotel room?
    1 King bed or 2 Queen or 2 Double beds.
  19. How do I contact a GET Travel Representative on-site or after hours in case I have a question or issue?
    GET Travel will have at least 1 emergency number to call once your travel commences and are outside the 7:30 am – 5:00pm PST regular office hours. Phone information will be included in the event’s Travel Departure Guide and will be posted on this website, sent in an email blast, and posted to your traveler account with GET Travel. It is the responsibility of the individual booking the rooms to provide every person involved in the reservation a copy of the reservation terms and conditions and a copy of the travel departure guide.
  20. Does GET Travel offer Travel Insurance?
    Many travelers feel that a vacation is a significant financial investment, and it is vital to protect your trip and yourself. There are certain circumstances that could arise at the last moment causing you not to travel. There may also be situations arising at your destination that can be inconvenient and costly.
